Thanksgiving Luncheons

November 16th and 17th

The Preschool Thanksgiving Luncheon will be on Thursday, November 16th. The Elementary Thanksgiving Luncheon will be on Friday, November 17th. Family members are invited. More information will be coming home with students soon.

Yankee Candle Sale

Ends Monday, November 6th

You may order at yankeecandlefundraising.com OR you may return the order form to the school on or before Monday, Nov. 6th. Our GCA Group Number is: 990069898. This is GCA’s number all year, so whenever you shop, make sure to use it so our school gets credit. The catalog offers some great Christmas gift selections.

Box Tops for Education

Due Friday, October 20th

Each year GCA is able to enhance our educational program through the Box Tops for Education program. Remember to send in your box tops by this Friday, Oct. 20th.

Fall Festival & Bible Character Dress-Up Day

Due Friday, October 27th, 10:30am - 12pm

The Teeny Tiny Farm will be bringing a petting zoo and providing pony rides on our playground areas. Students may choose to wear jeans with any color shirt OR they may dress up as a favorite Bible character (angels, shepherds, kings, princesses, etc). Because we are celebrating our Fall Festival on Friday, Oct. 27th, we will not be dressing up on Oct. 31st.

Early Dismissal

Thursday, October 26th

Thursday, October 26th will be an early dismissal day. The school will have an early release at 12:00 pm due to teacher work day. For a small fee, GCA will be providing child care services to families that need it that afternoon. The cost will be $15/child with services being offered from 12:30-5:30 pm.

Important Dates

Oct. 26 - Early Dismissal at noon, teachers work day in the afternoon, childcare will be provided

Oct. 27 - Fall Festival-Teeny Tiny Farm & Bible Character Dress Up Day. Parents are invited to join us for pony rides starting at approx. 11 am. K-7th gr. students are not required to wear uniforms on that day.

Nov. 3 - Elementary Report Cards go home.

Nov. 9 & 10 - Parent/Teacher Conference Days

Nov. 16 - Preschool Thanksgiving Luncheon

Nov. 17 - Elementary Thanksgiving Luncheon (K-7)

Nov. 22-24 - School Closed, Thanksgiving Holiday
