PRINCIPALS FOR A DAY

Thursday, March 28th & Friday, March 29th

Our second Principal for a Day will be Carmyn on Thursday, March 28th, and our third Principal for a Day will be La’Kaiya on March 29th. Both girls have planned some treats & fun activities.

ROYALTY DASH RUN/WALK FUNDRAISER

Saturday, April 27th from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

The GCA “Royalty Dash” Run/Walk will be a family event & fun for all ages. The events will include a 3K Run/Walk, a “Fun Run” for the kids, a “Daddy Dash” for the dads, and a “Stroller Roller” for the moms. Robert, a radio announcer from WMBG, will be our DJ for this event. A Bounce House Castle and a large playground nearby will provide entertainment for the kids. Participants (adults and kids) are encouraged to don their best “royal” outfits. The students will be creating crowns in their Art classes at school. Prizes will be presented for the best "royal" costumes. If you cannot attend  the run/walk that day, you may choose the option of becoming a "Virtual Runner.“ Sponsors may support a runner or walker with a cash donation. Proceeds from this event will be used for the general fund and to enhance our STEM & technology programs. Soon you will be receiving more information in an email. The email will explain how to sign up online as a participant and how to invite friends and family to sponsor a runner or walker.

The festivities will conclude with a cook out where you may purchase lunch for your family.

Cheryl Brehm, Mrs. America finalist 2015, will be joining the festivities for "royal" photo ops.

GRANDPARENTS’ DAY

Thursday, April 18th from 9:30 am - 11:30 am

GCA is excited to announce that our fifth annual Grandparents’ Day will be on Thursday, April 18th, from 9:30-11:30 am. We set aside this day to honor the grandparents of our GCA students and to give them a special opportunity to spend time with their grandchild(ren) while at school. Grandparents’ Day registration forms are due on or before Thur., April 11th .

FLOWERING THE CROSS CHAPEL

Wednesday, April 17th // 9:30 AM

Each year our school celebrates the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord by hosting a “Flowering of the Cross” ceremony. Students are invited to bring a flower to school that day to place it on a special cross.

April 1st - 5th - Spring Break, school and childcare will be closed

April 10th - During Chapel we will recognize military children and their families. 9:30 am

April 12th - Wear Purple Day- to honor military children and their families
