Christmas Parade

GCA won 1st Place Our GCA float was selected by the judges to receive 1st place in the Williamsburg Christmas Parade. A big “THANK YOU” goes to Mr. and Mrs. Taylor who designed and built our beautiful float. The float featured their family's carriage which was built in 1814 and once carried a Governor of Virginia. Of course, the precious faces of our GCA students stole the show. Additional appreciation goes to the following parents and staff who helped us: Tanya and Pat Collins, McKenzie Morrow, Melissa Dallas, Allyson Griffith, Brian Mucci, Kimberly and Travis Baskins, and Karen Hibbard. We also thank the parents who helped get the children in costume and then cheered us on along the parade route.

Fruit Sale Cancelled

Unfortunately, we were not able to reach the minimum order of 100 cases. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. This was our first attempt at selling holiday fruit and with this particular company. Our plan for the future is to explore other options. You may order at yankeecandlefundraising.com OR you may return the order form to the school on or before Monday, Nov. 6th. Our GCA Group Number is 990069898. This is GCA’s number all year, so whenever you shop, make sure to use it, so our school gets credit. The catalog offers some great Christmas gift selections.
