Our recent Open House was a huge success with six prospective families touring the campus and one family registering during the Open House. A big THANK YOU goes out to the following people who volunteered during the Beautification Days and during the Open House: Bill Bauernschmidt, Pastor Mark and his sons, Andy Dallas, Nancy Bell, Barry and Emma Hughes, Brian Mucci, Dawn Vermette, Whitney Morrow, Roberta Payne, Tara Sagman, Alice Vellines, Richard Hibbard, and Dave Dayton. Our facility looks amazing.

Summer child care ends on Friday, August 17th. Because the teachers are in in-service meetings and are preparing their classrooms for the upcoming school year, there will be no child care services offered during the week of August 21-25.
A table has been set up in the foyer for families that would like to donate GCA uniform items that their child(ren) may have outgrown. Feel free to stop by and check out the table to see if any items may fit your child(ren). Last year some of the items on the table were brand new and had never been worn. Please remember that the jacket is optional this year, but the blue vest will be required as part of the Chapel day uniform for all students in grades K-8.
We will be hosting a live event this Wednesday, August 2nd, at noon. We will have some exciting news for all of our families.

August 2nd – Facebook “Live” Event - Noon on the Greenwood Christian Academy Facebook page. If you “share” or “like” this with your Facebook friends and family it helps our school receive better recognition on all social media platforms.
August 4th - 6th – Tax-Free Weekend.
August 21st – Greenwood teachers and staff return for in-service meetings and to prepare their classrooms.
August 25th – “Meet the Teacher” - 9:30am - 11:30am
